Michele Fornai graduated in violin at the Music Institute “Rinaldo Franci” of Siena under the guidance of Maestro L. Rinaldi and then specialized with Maestro M. Lorenzini. He has collaborated with various orchestras of Tuscany with which he has carried out tours both in Italy and abroad (France, Romania, Monte Carlo, etc). During that period, he also teaches music theory, solfeggio, ensemble music and violin at the music school “Centro studi musicali”, until 2008. In 2014 he enrolled in the “Scuola di liuteria Toscana” (a reknown Toscan lutherie school) under the guidance of Maestro F. Chiari and in 2016, with the school, he exhibited in Milan for the event “Mani sapienti” (skillful hands), in Fermo for the XXIII international violin competition A. Postacchini, in Sesto Fiorentino where he participated in the publication of the book “Liuteria Toscana”. His instrument is published in the book “Liuteria Toscana, prima esposizione nazionale dei maestri ed allievi”. Also, his instruments were exposed at Punta Ala (Italy) in 2017 and 2018, Frankfurt in 2018 on a private exhibition, Mondomusica in 2017 and 2018, Piombino in 2018, Trichiana (Italy) in 2017 and 2018, Music China in 2018, in London at the Bishop’s exhibition in 2018 and at BWMA in 2019. Actually he makes his instruments for Liuteria Toscana.
